The food here is delicious as far as buffets go. I have been to many buffets across the country, and the quality in majority of them simply do not compare to the superior quality and taste they have at China Buffet. Staff is friendly, the restaurant has great ambiance and the price cant be beat. When i visit from New York City coming on business to Lacrosse WI this is my go to place for lunch with the co-workers.
Should definitely give this place a go. You cant beat the good quality and price!!! -

I was charged $7.50 for the same take out container that high school students receive, but they only have to pay $5. It is the same container, and the same food, that they receive. It's borderline age discrimination....I have to pay more simply because of my age.

Ok so, China Buffet is TERRIBLE!!! DO NOT EAT THERE!!!! The sodas Suck, the food is old, and Service is terrible. Me and my friend went there for my birthday and I was eating the orange chicken and noticed green stuff in it. then when I asked for a lemonade they gave me orange juice and told me they don't have "American Lemonade" DISGUSTING! And my friend asked for our bill and they said they could not give us the bill until we spent 30 more minutes there. I then laid don't 30$ and left. DONT GO HERE!

Took my nephew there for his birthday lunch at his request. Took him home afterwards stomach ill and very disappointed. He rated the place a 4.5 when he was 8. He's 14 now and his new rating is a 2.5. He even said things tasted probably even worse than animal food! No joke! All of our food tasted and felt like it was the prevoius nights over-fried left-overs. Who ever is in charge of quality control certainly doesn't give a damn what you're feeding your family.

The buffet food was nice and hot and their hot & sour soup is the best I've had. Buffet items range in quality and taste. The coconut shrimp is 90% batter and very disappointing.
